And Just Like That...It's Sold

Phase one is over, I now move onto phase two. I sold the farmhouse.

I know for some of you guys it may be shocking, but for me it was always the plan. Move into a farmhouse, see if I like this style of living. Then sell it, and move into another farmhouse/small farm but be mortgage free. And so far I am successfully working towards it. And I love, love living on a small farm, so now it is time for me to move onto to the next step.
Here is how phase two works....I buy a flip house, mortgage free, and then sell it almost immediately with a profit.

I am hoping that phase three will get me either to my next farmhouse or at least close to it. Yes, I am feeling sad that this farmhouse is sold, but happy that my next home I am mortgage free....first time in my life I have lived without paying rent or a mortgage....free as a bird!
I hope this announcement doesn't make you guys unfollow me, I would hate that. It's as simple as this....the adventure continues!
I will be posting on Facebook over the next several days the houses that I tour, and as always, get feed-back from you guys.

  1. Diane, I have been visiting you for some time but don't usually leave comments. Usually my time is short so there are a lot of wonderful blogs that I follow by e-mail and read every post but never comment. Anyway, I have loved your journey with the farmhouse and always have admired the black and white decor. Farmhouses just seem like a wonderful way of life, as I remember my grandparents life style. I imagine you are sad to see it go, but your plan is a very smart one and eventually you will be way ahead of the game. I wish you great luck and will continue to see whatever you do along the way..Happy Thursday..Judy
