First Snowfall

It was a scene straight from a Hallmark Christmas card,
so I captured it on my camera.

I woke this morning to my first snowfall here on the farm.
It was stunningly beautiful.  I could have stood in one spot and looked at it for hours.
But I had chores to do, so I quick grabbed my camera and snapped away.

The old barn peeking through the snowy trees.

As I walk around, my hands and feet are getting cold.

So I came inside to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate.

  1. The start of many more happy "firsts" to come...and you didn't have to shovel! It would make me want to put up the Christmas lights.....

  3. It looks so pretty Diane. What a spot you have found! Yes, little white lights are needed on the trees and shrubs and candles in the windows. :) How about a big wreath on the barn too! :) Enjoy.

  6. Diane - as much as I don't like snow, it sure looks pretty! We didn't get any snow accumulation here in Lasalle, but we did have some flurries - I am praying that winter this year is not like last year!!
