Crockpot Ham

This is a recipe that I posted last Christmas.
*The only difference to this recipe from last year,
is sometimes I add cloves into the ham while cooking.

Recipe I use for ham I cook in my crock-pot.
Super easy to do!




Ingredients
- 1 Ham, pre-cooked, bone-in
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 2 (14ounce) cans of pineapple chunks (or tidbits), do not drain juice.
1/4 cup of whole cloves


Directions
Cover the bottom of the crock with the brown sugar.
Place ham in the crock.
Cover ham with pineapple with the juice.
Sprinkle ham with brown sugar.
Insert cloves

Cover and cook for up 5-7 hours on low (depending on size of ham).

  3. Sounds delicious. Is the wee bit of juice in the pineapple tin enough to keep it moist and not dry out? What happens to all the brown sugar in the bottom? Sorry, but I don't cook in my crockpot much and have questions. lol Pam

  4. Thanks for the comment Pamela. Yes, the juice from the can is enough and eventually that and the brown sugar will form a thick sort of sauce. Sometimes I go in and baste.
