Dollar Store Halloween Tablescape

This year for my Halloween table setting,
I wanted to do something a bit different.

I challenged myself to put together a unique Halloween tablescape, on a budget.
First I shopped at home.
Then I shopped at The Dollar Tree.

I put together a six, bit of a mish mash, place setting.
This is what I came up with.....

What I shopped at home.
*4 Halloween black with pumpkins napkins
*2 Burnt orange napkins
*2 white bowls
*4 white salad plates
*6 Silver chargers
*Centre piece
*Gerry, the skeleton

What I bought at The Dollar Tree.

*6 Black dinner plates
*4 orange bowls
*6 wine glasses
(I already had these at home, but I initially bought them at The Dollar Tree)
*4 ivory placemats
*3 candle holders

I wanted the table to be simple, just your basic Halloween colours, black and orange.
I stayed away from the usual ghoulish trademarks of this spooky season,
with the exception of Gerry the skelton.
He just makes himself right at home!

He is such a ham and loves to get his picture taken!

The centrepiece, a simple Fall setting.
Pumpkins and pine cones.

I love how this colourful table setting came together.

A mixture of colour and dishes.
Kinda amazing what the dollar store has in stock!

  1. Your table looks fabulous Diane, great job!

  2. Your table looks amazing! When you combine them together like this they look totally awesome. I don't have this creativity inside me. So, I don't see anything like this when I look at this stuff in Dollar Tree myself.

  3. It's stylish! Great finds at the dollar store too! I love to see what I have at home first! I don't care for too ghoulish either, so I used what I had when making our party.

The odd thing is that I could not remember where I placed the small green goblets. It's a small house! How did I misplace them? I know I used them last Christmas, but since they are not Christmas I doubt I would of packed them.

  4. Looks're skeleton is all ready for chili and donuts.

  5. Love love love it! The skeleton cracks me up! xo Jen

  6. OMG I just love those orange bowls...can't believe you got them at the dollar store. Was it recently?

    Hugs, Lynnie
