Don't you just love pretty wreaths for the home...
Don't you love them even better when they are easy to make.
And don't you love them even more when they didn't cost you that much!
Have a look at my new Fall wreath.
It was super easy to put together.
It costs me a total of $22.
Here is how I made it
Grapevine wreath - $3.99 (Micheals)
Sunflowers $5.39 (Michaels)
Wheat $2.49 x 3 (Michaels)
Burlap ribbon $2.99 (Hobby Lobby in MI)
LePage's 100% glue
Wire for the bow
*Notes - I did not use the pumpkin floral pick.
First I wired together my bow.
Then I applied my glue to the bow and attached it to the wreath.
The instructions for this glue was let it sit for a bit.....so I did just that.
Next came the bushes of wheat.
Gave it plenty of glue.
Comparing my hot glue gun versus this glue, the glue won hands down.
I did not need to wait for it to heat up, did not have to deal with any hot glue
and once I was done I put the cap back on....finished...I really do like easy peasy!
Plus, there was tons of glue left over.
Why the hammer?
I placed the hammer on each newly glued piece....for stabiltity.
The weight of the hammer secured each piece on the wreath.
And again, I waited a bit for the glue to dry.
See....super easy lovely wreath.
Made in under one hour.
I was all set to hang it on the exterior door, but I didn't like that I would never see it.
So it ended up going on a door that is in the living room, beside the TV armoire.
This way, as I watch my favourite shows, I can admire my masterpiece!
So pretty, I love my new Fall wreath.
