Blogger Home Tour - Willow Wisp Cottage

Welcome to the Blogger Home Tour Series.
Featuring some of the finest homes on tour in Blogland.

What I adore so much about this sweet home, is it's all about elegance, casual and relaxing.
The before and afters of this home are incredible.
Taking a regular builders home design, and creating a welcoming farmhouse cottage style.
Meet veterinarian Andrea who blogs at Willow Wisp Cottage

Let's get started

Stepping into the grand foyer.

You will love the cottagy casual living room.

Getting some help with her home redesigning vision, Andrea hired out e-designer Holly Mathis.
Lucky girl, I adore Holly's work!

Have a look at the room before......

And here it is after.

Andrea switched up the living room into a brand new cottage farmhouse style.
It is simply beautiful.....I want this room!

Armories.....always make a statement in a room.

 Simple, elegant.

I am so impressed with this slipcover.
Her seamstress should sell them on Etsy.  I would be her first buyer!

This door leads out to the sunroom.....we'll get to that in a second.

Wicker counter height stools....very cool......every home should have wicker.

And since were here, let's tour the newly renovated kitchen.

Shaker style cabinets that go top to bottom of the 10 foot ceiling.

I am in love with the lantern light above the island.
Have a look at where she bought most of her groovy lights throughout the house here.
I see a shopping day for myself in the very future.

The breakfast nook area.

This has got to be the prettiest dining room I have ever seen!

What's there not to love!

The doors off the dining leads you into the sunny sunroom.

Moving onto the long, two sided sunroom, this has to be my favourite room.
The sunnier the room, the better!

Here is the one side.....

....and the other side.

It gets better.....the fireplace.
I'm pretty sure I could spend an entire day in this room!

Let's wonder up and down some halls in the house....
maybe open a few doors while we are at it....we're so snoopy!

Taking a detour into the laundry......

The mudroom.....

Check out the toile master bedroom.

Here is the DIY tutorial on how to make these pinch pleaded curtains.
Thanks for sharing that my friend.....along with a bunch of other awesome tutorial throughout the blog!

Take a tour of the house decked out for Christmas.

Can't wait to see it this year, with all the new changes and decor.

Wasn't this week's home just stunning?
Andrea you have made your cozy Canadian cottage a beautiful haven.

Thank you for letting us snoop around.....we enjoyed it!

Now you all know what to do.....
stroll on over and stop in for some hot apple cider, she will love your company.
