We are getting ready and planning out our trip.
Where we want to visit and stay, sites we want to see.
Getting very excited.
So each evening just before I retire for the night, I send an email to my children with how many more sleeps we have.
Just like I did when they were little, and waiting for some major event.
And this trip is a very major event for us.
Two years is a long time without the road, for we gypsy road trippers.
Last night I was out at Walmart getting a little bit of this and that.
When I spotted this lovely bag.
Perfect for the beach.....isn't it cute?
Still worried about daughter's back disability, but have done a few things that I think will work.
First thing I did was buy travel insurance, just in case anything goes wrong medically.
And we will have a "spa day" half way during our trip.
She will get a massage from a professional massage therapist.
She does this currently as part of her rehab treatment, along with her physio.
While we wait for her, maybe son and I can get our hair cut or something.
With this new plan, I am starting to worry a little less.
Once we get to California, we will do most of our sight-seeing along the Hwy 1.
Focusing on the waterfront Monterey. I would love, love to get some whale watching in!
Kids want to spend sometime on the Santa Cruz boardwalk amusement park....that's cool too
Will be taking my laptop and journaling the trip.
I will be linking up with Anything Blue over at The Dedicated House
