How To Make Your Pictures Larger

Blogger Tips #3
Making your Blog more tip at a time!

This is an easy peasy tip.

Step 1. Upload your pictures to your post as you normally do.

Step 2. On the top left corner is the Compose/HTML tabs. Click on the HTML.

Step 3. You will see jibberish wording that looks like this:

/s1600/IMG_2936a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0"
 height="640" src="
/uSvrtPxQ3I4/s640/IMG_2936a.jpg" width="425" /></a></div>

Look for the section that says WIDTH, change it to 550 or whatever size you wish.
Change the HEIGHT to 700 or whatever size you wish.  After that, look for where it says s640, and change it to s700.
{With my Blogger layout, my width is 426 and my height is 640}

Step 4. Go back to compose.  Save.  Then preview to see how your picture looks.
If it is too big or too fuzzy, then go back and change the size. Easy.

You will need to do this for every picture.
You also may need to widen your blog layout if the picture sizes are too large.

Enjoy your new and improved pics!

  1. I have never changed my photo size that way - thanks for the tip. I just choose large or ex-large when I highlight the photo as I compose. I found that ex-large was too big for my laptop screen so I just recently started using large. Yours are always scaled well with my screen. Happy Summer!

  2. Thanks for this info. I also just use the large or extra large.

  3. That is a fab tip. I changed my whole blog layout so ex large pics would fit when I could have just done this!
