Blogger Spotlight

This week I stumbled across a very unique blog.
Meet Lisa from {createinspire}

She has beautiful wood furniture makeovers.
I am always looking for ideas with painted furniture.  Colour choices and options.
I was very inspired from her blog.  She does a wonderful job and I wanted to share it.

Let's take a before and after tour.

This is the before.

The details.
Nothing gets overlook.

The best part of this makeover, we see these antique cabinets all the time on Kijiji or Craigslist.
Now we have an idea what it looks like painted in ASCP Duck Egg.

What a clever idea, have a look at this made over gun cabinet.

Love the details

You know I love red!

After
Just stunning.

Check this out.....brilliant, brilliant!
A bench container garden....would love to make one myself.

Before
She takes an old worn out small table, cuts out a couple of holes for the clay pots and voila....instant garden.

She even gives a detailed tutorial on how she paints furniture.

It was difficult to pick and choose which pieces of furniture to show off.
I fell in love with pretty much every single piece she posts.
I am currently going through each and every post she has ever done, I find her blog incredible.
So I am off with my cup of tea, relaxing and studying each single piece.....okay maybe will make that two cups of tea!

Thank you Lisa for sharing your amazing work!

  3. Diane--I can't even begin to tell you how completely thrilled and flattered I am by your post! I love what I do and I am elated when others find enjoyment in it, too! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for this special spotlight! Hope you have a fabulous week sweet lady!!!

  4. Oh my! I love this work on her cabinets and cupboards.
Seeing that black distressed hutch--reminds me. My year old diy chalk painted kitchen cabinets already show a significant amount of wear. I should probably go ahead and distress them and re wax them...and move on!!!
I also LOVE the gun case.

  7. What a great job she does. I think my favorite is the turquoise table.

I was in a thrift shop recently looking for good prices on furniture - didn't find any- but I saw an ugly piece and wondered what some of the great furniture gurus in blogland could do with it.
