And I Think To Myself.....

What a wonderful world.....indeed.
I want to send out a great big thank you to everyone who sent encouraging words from my last post.
It meant so much to me.
I am feeling inspired now to get on the bank wagon and paint and clean that house like crazy!
I will be decorating and staging it a bit for Real Estate purposes.
As I said in my last post, I will be closing the chapter of renting this particular house out again.
Hopefully when the house sells I will put the money aside and consider how wise to invest it.
Maybe another investment property or maybe just pool it with my savings for the farm purchase.
Decisions, decisions.
But for now, I will be busy over at the house for the next little bit.

But today, I want to post some pretty pictures of my rental property (right after the renovations back in 2009).
She deserves to be shown in her glory.

A pretty little house

Not a day goes by that I don't think about my blog and the blogging community,
and how fortunate I have been to meet some fantastic people.
Thank you again my friends!

Sending hugs your way,

  1. What a contrast in pictures from your previous post to this one! It really upsets me so I can imagine how saddened and upset you must be. I wish you will with the renos and hope it sells soon so you can move on. Take care and stay in touch with how things are going with the old house. Hugs, Pamela

  2. Diane,

I hope that the renovations will go smoothly, the right buyer will be along in a timely matter, and that in time this will be just a memory. I am really sorry that these individuals did this to your home.

  3. She is a beauty and just as I imagined!

  4. I love this old house.
I can see the love and care you put into making her glow.
Now...she is getting a make over. I hope you are able to work some magic in there.
She'll be good as new, soon.

  5. What a lovely home. I say this as I am shaking my head...I just don't understand. But she will shine again. Just like you.

  6. What a charming house this is. How someone could be so destructive and damage this home is beyond me. Best of luck with the renovations!
