Smoothie Recipe

Strawberry and Blackberry Smoothie

When my daughter comes home on the weekends from school, 
she often makes this favourite recipe.


6-8 Strawberries
4-6 Blackberries
1C   Vanilla Flavour Yogurt
1C  Milk
3-6TBP  Sugar
1 1/2 - 2C  Ice

Put all ingredients in blender and mix.
For a variety, add a banana.

Quick, easy and healthy drink.

  3. I have seen smoothies on TV, blogs and in magazines so I'm going to buy a blender and start making them. They are certainly healthy and fresh! Enjoy the weekend. Pam

  4. I love smoothies and don't drink nearly as many as I should over the winter.

  5. I need to try this. I cannot eat bananas and most smoothie recipes seem to require them. Thanks for sharing! I forgot to say in my last comment, about your name change, that I have 12 more provinces to go! I have only been to Quebec. We were supposed to go to British Columbia a few years ago, but my husband became ill and we had to cancel. I had better get busy - I have a lot more to see!
