Red & White For Valentine's

A few weeks back I pulled out my red and white dishes and decor.
Red and white for Valentine's Day.

Certainly not the full bling of Christmas,
but it definitely adds a festive mood in the house.
A brightness on a cold, dull winter season.

Satisfied with my touches of red and white, I was however feeling that something was missing.
Valentine hearts.
So I made a quick trip to the dollar store and bought these shiny red hearts.
Wouldn't be Valentine's without a couple of hearts!

A hodge-podge of fine china, milk glass, transferware and vintage treasures.

Add a few pink flowers into the mixture.

My next project is a Valentine tablescape.
I picked up these heart placemats at the Dollar Tree......kinda cute addition to a Valentine's Day decor.
I will be working on it this week, see what I come up with.

I will be linking up with these parties

Metamorphosis Monday at Between Naps on the Porch
Tweak It Tuesday at Cozy Little House
