Kitchen Switcheroo

At the beginning of December of last year, I moved into this sweet rental home.
The house came furnished.
However, I felt that a few rooms needed a little switcheroo.
I started with the kitchen.

In the breakfast area, I took out her table and chairs and added my own table set, china cabinet and area rug.

Amazing what a little bit here and there can do.
Makes a house indeed into a home.

I always have fresh flowers in the them reduced of course.
Still on my strict Penny Heiress budget.  Budget or no budget, they are always a must in this household.
That and fresh fruit.

Now let's move over to the working area of the kitchen.
Kinda bleak before.

Until I started to add my own stuff.

I work on this side of the counter,
I just move the picture and rooster over so they don't get dirty.

Amazing what a little switcheroo can do!
