Crock-pot Ham Recipe



Today I invited my sister and her family over for a pre-Christmas dinner.  
I thought I would share the recipe I use for ham I cook in my crock-pot.
Super easy to do!





Ingredients
- 1 Ham, pre-cooked, bone-in
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 2 (14ounce) cans of pineapple chunks (or tidbits), do not drain juice.

*sometimes I insert cloves into the ham while cooking (remove when done)*
 

Directions
Cover the bottom of the crock with the brown sugar.
Place ham in the crock.
Cover ham with pineapple with the juice.
Sprinkle ham with brown sugar.

Cover and cook for up 7 hours on low (depending on size of ham).

It is tradition for us to spend Thanksgiving in the mountains, and we carry our camper to stay in which means limited cook space, so this year, I carried my big oval crock pot and set it up outside on the table and did exactly this. It turned out great! Merry Christmas to you and your family, Diane.

  3. My mom makes this for Christmas and thanksgiving but we add yellow mustard and it adds a tang to the sauce mmmmm it is very good.
