Patio Lanterns

Garden of Love

While I am into and enjoying the middle of my first summer at my trailer, I have been fortunate enough to have some awesome neighbours.  Good neighbours that have turned into good friends.

My neighbours, directly across from me, happen to have a pretty little garden.   Their garden just recently won the annual Trailer Park’s prize, Best Garden of the Year for a Camper in their First Year.

As I wile away the summer sun, I am lucky I have such pretty scenery to look at.

I wish I only had before and after pics, but I didn’t come onto the scene until after the "before’s"  were completed.  New trailer park residences like myself, they bought their trailer at the end of last season.  Getting a head start, they started making changes to their grounds and gardens as early as March, well before the park open its gates.  Lots of love and labour went into making the changes and according to them, the work is still in progress.  But I guess,  what garden is every truly finished.

All of our lots here at the park are fairly small, and it always amazes me how some people have creatively made use of the space they are given.  A kaleidoscope of colour, in a small area.
The pretty garden across from me is a perfect example, almost every inch has something blooming, but with enough green to make it cozy.
Lots of use of planters and containers.

My friends come up to their trailer usually mid-week and leave on the Monday or Tuesday.  But pretty much from the time they arrive, he is always working away on his grounds.  I always enjoy my visits with them, good company, good friends.  In the picture below, this is my trailer looking from theirs.

Thank you Dann and Julie for sharing these pics.
I am sure my blog friends have enjoy this little tour of your little garden of love.

Say hello to Bella and Cole.  They live at this trailer too!

Thanks for a glimpse into the lives at the park.
