A Pretty Park

Yesterday, I was up at the trailer.
Both my children were there, both studying for upcoming school exams.
At one point daughter asked me if I would like to take a walk around the camp ground.

As this is only my second week owning my trailer,
I had yet not ventured outside of my own little corner of the park.
To my surprise, the park grounds were very lovely.

 Three pretty lake and creeks.

A peaceful moment for my daughter Rachel,
probably thinking about her upcoming mid-term exams.

It was a very warm day yesterday, temperature at 32C/90F.
The bugs were bad, they were eating me alive!
Note to bug repellent.

There were a ton of bird houses on the property......after a while I gave up counting.

The park is on Native Indian land,
the grounds were deep in Indian culture and history.

Statues and plaques here and there.

My favourite garden angel.

I thought this was cute.
Beaver very!

I think I am going to just love my summer this year.

This is my little pretty corner of the park.
I know you all have seen pics of my trailer a million times.....but I can't help it, am so proud of it!

  1. Hi Diane. What a lovely and peaceful camping park you are at. I think I'd really enjoy wandering around or just sitting on that lovely deck and enjoying the scenery. It's already 30 here this afternoon - our first HOT day of the summer. Enjoy your summer at the trailer! Blessings, Pamela

  2. What beautiful surroundings, it looks so tranquil. It is good to see all of the birdboxes, clearly they are looking after the wildlife. I enjoy seeing your trailer, and I am more than a little jealous!

  3. Where is this summer dwelling of your located. It looks so peaceful and lovely there. NICE DECK and covering you have.
What city do you live in anyway.
I think I told you I made my FIRST trip to Ontario last to July for a blogging gal gathering.
The host lives in Plantagenet. I fell in love with all the green , trees, water.........and well, it was just lovely.
Birdhouses are kind of a passion of mine.

  4. Hi Diane,
Such a pretty place to camp in style...I love it, enjoy your time away.
    Hugs, Elizabeth

  5. It looks like a wonderful place to spend the summer. I'm so happy for you! Thanks for taking us on the walk too!
