A Pretty Place to Wait

This week I have been paying quite a bit of attention to my vehicle.
Getting it tuned-up, new tires, oil change, etc.
And yesterday was tire changing day.

The shop were I brought my vehicle in was attached to the mechanics home.
He told me I could wait in the waiting area, or if I choose, I could wait in his backyard.
Guess where I opted to sit and wait!

Beautiful grounds.

Good thing I brought my camera.
I was en route to see a few condos for rent in the Sarnia area, I will show these pics later this week.

The entrance to the vegetable garden.

To the left of the arbor.

The view from the above stone bench.

What a lovely way to wile away the morning as you wait for car maintenance.
Every auto garage should have this!

  1. That is the best waiting room I've ever seen. Wish I had some places like that to wait in. the wait time would pass a lot quicker.

  4. I think there must be a strategy behind the garden wait! I for one would probably have to find something wrong with my car at least twice a week so that I could enjoy what looks to be a very peaceful garden! Funnily enough my car has been in the garage having some obscure thing done to it and we were told just to leave it there until we were contacted! What a difference! Joan

  5. What a lovely place to wait, Diane. Much better than a stuffy office with a broken vending machine!

  6. Diane, I would have picked the garden too. What a delightful spot to sit and wait while the repairs are done. Thank you for the thoughtful comment on my garden. ~ Sarah

  7. Hi Diane,

    I love that garden!
I wish my car would break down there. I would like to spend some time taking in all that beauty.
    What a fateful experience!
