Spring Weekend

When the weekend rolls around, my mind just shuts down.
All week I deal with everything and anything that requires my attention.

The day to day life of a high school son and a University daughter.
Trials and errors of a new business.
Family obligations.

But on the weekend, I lock down.
I let rest and relaxation take over.

And this particular weekend, the spring air is crisp and refreshing.
Mother Nature at her best.

Today I might get into my car and chase a good deal somewhere.
Something oozing with vintage.

 Go for a picnic.

Eat some cake.

Ride my bicycle out to the park.

Soak in a hot tub is a must.

Put on the prettiest spring outfit in my closet.

Maybe tomorrow I will sleep in late.....or maybe not.

Peony & Sage

Do something really exciting like house hunting.
I know, I know, you would love that too.......yes, okay you can come along with me!

And if the Realtor asks, fake it and tell them we are millionaires.

Better look the part and wear our best jewels.

If you could be so kind and bring something to drink.
House hunting is so exhausting and one can get very parched.

I think this spring weekend is turning out just devine....don't you. :)

  11. Easter is a feeling in our hearts of hope and faith and trust.
    It is a day of miracles; a day when our dreams seem a little closer;
a time of retrospection for what has been and antisapitation of all that will be.
And is a time for for remembering with love and appreciation the people in our lives who make a difference.

Diane May Your Easter Be Special !

  14. Hi Diane! I love this post. The chair with the lace and the old straw hat and also the one above it. looks like an enclosed porch. The bike by the gate is also a favorite.
I hope you had a lovely Easter.
