A Peaceful Day in the Country

Today, my daughter and I decided to hit the thrift stores.
So we jumped into the car and headed to the neighbouring town of Woodstock.
I took the country way.

Isn't this great.
An old tin barn rusted to a romantic country colour.

The whole time I am snapping away these pictures,
it's so peaceful and quiet.

Very creative, a bird house on a fence post.
Or it that a bat house?
Either or, I thought is was picture worthy.

Three old silos.....aren't they great!

Not a single soul the entire time we are out walking and taking pics.
You'll notice, no snow.  Last week it was storming snow, this week it's gone!

We stopped off at a local park to have our lunch.
We had some company that wanted to join us too!

Finally made it to the thrift store and we came away with a few treasures.

A sweet little teapot, vintage silver tray, fabric and some books.
A lovely beginning to the weekend I think!
