A Breath of Elegance

These days I am enjoying my new Canon camera that I bought last fall.

When I am out shopping at the thrift stores I look for items that will be good to photograph.

Classic vintage china that will breath elegance into my photo shots.

I pulled together some sweet vintage tea cups,

a regal tarnished coffee pot,

and arranged some carnations for drama and colour.
These days I buy reduced flowers......always looking to cut costs.

Then grabbed my camera.

I love seeing my treasures come to life in my photos.

I fall in love with them all over again!

  1. Love, love, love your teacups! Your photos are great too. The color of the flowers are just right, too. I have been having ZERO luck at the thrift stores lately. Bad Karma?

  4. I really love your floral teacups! And the carnations really do add that "punch" of color! Vintage really is so very elegant! Also love the crocheted lace you have it setting on!

  5. I love the tea pot! And those little cups remind me of the tea cups that my grandmother had on display. I packed them all up for safe keeping when she died. I think I just might need to get them out again.

  6. Photography is not my strong point and I am always so intrigued by the shots of others. Very pretty. I keep seeing those teacups/saucers glued together and stuck on a post as bird feeders or baths. Too cute.

  7. I love the colour of your carnations and I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes them. DH learned long ago not to buy me roses, they have no fragrance and don't last as long as the carnations.
The teacups are pretty and the old silver pot is the perfect vase for your display.
