Christmas Home Tour 2011

Welcome to My Christmas Home Tour

We are done decking the halls,
Christmas carol sheets are all ready for carolling,
gifts are wrapped,
eggnog in the refrigerator,
wearing my silly red and white Santa hat,
and my lovely Christmas sweater,
and the food for Christmas dinner is all bought.

I am ready for Christmas.

The old fashion family tree.
A mish-mash of old and new.
A tree of memories and love.

China cabinet all decked out in red.
Check out what Christmas treasure are inside here

Next to the china cabinet is the woodland tree.
This themed tree I started last Christmas while we were living out West in British Columbia.
This year only some of the ornaments got on the tree,
I had to use one of the bedroom slim trees to fit in the corner beside the sofa.

Such a fun tree with different style and colour ornaments.

Moving onto the kitchen.

A four foot white tree with red and green whimsical ornaments.

Under the counter we have some santas and some reindeer prancing around.

One of the few wreaths around the house.

Upstairs the master bedroom is decorated in white.

One of my favorite trees, so beautiful and calming at night.

My daughter went with a blue theme this year.

Every year she changes her colour or theme.
But one thing she remains true too.....her love of architecture and animals.
You will always find both on her trees.

I have Christmas in the bathroom as well.

But for me the most rewarding part of Christmas is the home-made gifts I make for my family every year.

I make something different every year and this year are ornaments for the tree.
I made four for my own family tree.

Hope you enjoyed a little tour of my home at Christmas.

May you all have a happy and blessed Christmas.

I will be joining in on the Chrsitmas home tours over at

  6. Diane, your Christmas trees are all so pretty! I can't pick a favorite as they're all beautiful in their own way. Merry Christmas blessings to you my friend! Hugs, Pamela

  7. I just love all the Christmas trees and decor you have around your house. You decorated each tree so beautifully. I really like the icicles on the first tree. We had them growing up but I don't think I've seen any for a long time.
