Treasure Hunting This Week

As I have mentioned before, each month we cross the Canadian/US Boarder to spend a weekend in Michigan.
Enjoying the Thumb area of MI and this side of Lake Huron.
This weekend in Michigan is the annual BlueWater Antique & Yard Sale Trail.
200 miles of yard/garage/estate sales!
I wait all year for this one weekend.

Unfortunately I was not able to spend the entire weekend in Michigan like I do each year.
I have been busy doing this....

...working....
A girls got to make a living!
I so love what I do, everything is so pretty!
Don't look to close, I have yet to press off the bottom of the chair covers.

Anyway, lets get back to my treasure hunting in Michigan.
We arrived in Michigan around 12:00noon Saturday, and I managed to finds some pretty good deals.

This Christmas runner and matching petite pillow cost me $1.50.
This will go great with my blue Christmas bathroom decor.

  1. What a fun yard sale to go to! One hears about such mile-long or 200-mile long ones but not around here. There is one village that has a one day yard sale but it's so crowded so I've never gone. The Precious Moments figurine is sweet and you got it for a good price. You must enjoy doing up receptions. A great creative outlet! Enjoy the rest of the weekend! Pamela
