Watermelon Wine

In my last post here I mentioned watermelon wine.

I first was introduced to this heavenly drink by the ex-father-in-law.

I had not thought about this drink in years, funny how this thought popped into my head after so many years, and now I can't stop thinking of it.

So I am posting the recipe and a sweet watermelon wine song by Tom T Hall.

I have never made homemade wine before, but I am seriously considering making this yummy drink.
How hard can it be??  Famous last words!
It tastes like a wine cooler.
I am not sure if wine stores sell this particular flavor, I only know of the homemade version.
So, does this make it moonshine??
Just call me hillbilly Diane!

  4. Stir well to dissolve all sugar.

  3. Hi, I'm visiting from Pink Saturday. I LOVE wine; however, I've never made my own. My brother-in-law has made his own wine, but the last time he made it, he got severely ill...the doctor suggested he had done something wrong and that he'd ingested some sort of fungus or mold from the wine. So, I've not been anxious to try it myself.

I remember that song. That was the kind of country music my dad listened to when I was growing up. I remember him liking Tom T. Hall.

    Happy Pink Saturday,
    Patti
