Thrifty Finds This Week

As I continue to stay true to my decorating on a dime philosophy, I shopped for good deals at my local thrift stores, Goodwill and Value Village.
Only did a few garage sales last Saturday, because I just could not get myself going Saturday morning.....some days you just want to vegetate - plus I was reading a very good book!

But what I did get, they were all great deals.
Tucked behind the table is the sweetest child's winter sleigh.

Haven't quite found a permanent home for it yet, but I will.
I can't wait to decorate it for Christmas.

Isn't this the prettiest tablecloth??
I got it for $9.00.  The embroidery is incredible.
I have the perfect dishes to go with this vintage tablecloth and can't wait to do a tablescape.

Anybody remember these poodles?

These Avon vintage poodles I remember from my childhood.
I just love finding treasures like these!

I bought this black and beige plaid pillow at a garage sale for $3.
Haven't found a home for it yet, but I just really liked it!

Relish dish #1....paid $9.99 at Value Village.....

.....and relish tray #2, bought at Goodwill for $8.99.

Pretty little cream and covered sugar dish....paid $5 for the two.

The best deal this week had to be the sterling flatware for $.30 a piece!
I bought a service for 12.

My daughter picked up these antique books....$1.00 each.
I am so glad she loves antiquing like her Mom!

....and a pretty little tea cup...$1.00

So this week I thought I did not do too bad.

Diane
