An Earth Tone Easter

Last week at the Thrift Store I came upon a beautiful set of dishes for $2.50.
It came with 9 dinner plates, 6 bread/butter plates, 3 bowls and a oval platter.

I challenged myself to put together an earth tone Easter table setting.
And it was a challenge....it took me forever to find items in the colour palette of beige, white, greens, etc.

But I finally finished yesterday....

The most expensive item on this table is the floral bouquet.

Pretty much, everything came from thrift stores.

This soup tureen cost me $4.50 at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

Beautiful Easter lilies, I looked at getting white, but the yellow ones called to me.

Cute bunny napkin rings $2.00 for a set of 4.

Used everyday Gibson dishes as a charger....they matched my cute little bunnies!

Did you notice one place setting is minus a bowl?  Only came with 3....only used 3!!

Recognize the serving tray and the amber wine glasses from the sweet shop around the corner.
That post is here

This tray went from turquoise to white....I thought it fit right into this setting...

Bought these daffodils yesterday, hoping they would bloom for today's photo shoot, but they did not.
I think because I had them beside the lilies.....but you know daffodils, they don't play well with other flowers!

But, I still think they looked good.

I have been using these desert dishes since my children were little...I just like them....

Even the Easter candy was difficult to find.....no worries, Walmart saved the day!

Table runner are two oversize, long pillow cases.....

Sweet bunny, paid $4.

I love Easter!!

  14. You nailed it - your tablescape is so pretty, so Eastery, and yet all neutral. I love how you even managed to get neutral easter eggs. The yellow lilies and daffodils are the perfect pop of colour on the table. Well done.
